Where Did You Come From, Cotton-Eye Joe?
…Actually, it’s John Behrens, our founder. John started out as a contractor audio engineer, but wanted to work with publishers directly while taking action against the godawful audiobooks and podcasts on the proverbial shelves at the time. He was unpleasantly surprised to see how little effort, consideration, or work was put into spoken word audio at all, and—for the sake of creators everywhere—he decided to do something about it.
We’ve been creating audiobooks since…well our founder was doing it back in 2011, and NAP’s first title hit the hard drives in 2018. Today, we’re proud to bring pro-level quality and fanatical-level devotion to every audiobook we produce, whether you’re Katy Perry or Cady Berry’s Uncle Terry. Everyone pays for the same value, and we’re obsessed with giving you the best experience and the best-sounding book imaginable.
You only get one shot at telling your story, and we’re here to make sure it’s 100% stress-free and 100% embarrassing-pronunciation-blunder-free. People also need to be able to connect to the story, which should be dripping with passion from a narrator who actually gives a flying EQ. Instead of boring your listeners into a coma, we’ll keep them wide awake with an energetic rendition of your text, transmitted in crystal-clear quality. And that’s why Nashville Audio Productions is the best in the industry. Is this where the #DropMic goes?
What We Do
What We Do
Plenty of studios can create good audiobooks. But you want more than that. You want a stress-free experience that doesn’t leave you with an eyetwitch and hair turned fifty shades of gray. Creating an audiobook means placing your work on a completely different canvas, and that process can be overwhelming. Will the end result be what you envisioned in your mind? Will you have any sanity left if you DIY it or hire the wrong producer? We can’t speak for other audiobook studios in Nashville, but with us, we can confirm that the product and the process will be better.
If the likes of Harper Collins, Thomas Nelson, and more of the biggest publishers on the planet trust us with audiobooks as serious as celeb autobiographies, you can too. But let us prove it – have you booked a chat with us yet? We’ll get the digital lattes brewin’. We can’t vouch for our coffee-making skills, but when it comes to pro audiobook production, we can’t be beat. We’ve been doing this for longer than we’d like to admit. We know our craft, and it shows in every high-end audiobook production our clients walk away with.
